Pioneer DEH-P4200SD Description

iPhone, iPod, SD-card, USB device, MP3 player or CD: enjoy your music collection on the road, however it’s stored.

The SD slot is discreetly hidden behind the front panel which is closed again when the card is in place. You can use both SD and SDHC cards.

Connect your USB storage device to the high-speed input on the front of the unit.

Plug and play your portable MP3 player via the auxiliary input (also on the front) or enjoy tunes from your iPod and iPhone: a standard iPod to USB cable is all you need.

The audio can be tuned to your tastes through the 5-band graphic equaliser. It allows you to adjust the equalisation to match the distinct interior acoustic characteristics of your car.

All functions are managed through the Rotary Commander, which works like a joystick: essential for browsing your audio files.

Should you require extra muscle, 3 RCA pre-outs are available, so you can boost your in-car setup with additional amplifiers, subwoofers and speakers.

This feature automatically reduces the volume of your system when an incoming call is detected or you dial an outgoing call on a cellular phone installed in your car.

Combine the MOSFET 50Wx4 power amp and EEQ Plus technology to get Direct Sub Drive, another unique Pioneer technology feature. It enables you to amplify your front speakers by 2 x 50 W and add a 70 W amplified filtered subwoofer (in 2 Ohm mode) in the rear to enjoy outstanding full power bass without an extra amplifier. It's an easy solution for lovers of booming bass.

Thanks to the RCA pre-outs, it is easy to expand your sound system. You can significantly improve your in-car sound quality by connecting extra amplifiers to your headunit. Combining Pioneer 's EEQ+ with the RCA pre-outs let you create the exact sound you want, with the focus on complete flexibility!
